Three more pages!

Yay, I managed to upload another 3 pages (pages 18-20) of Falx! As I've uploaded pages 15-17 earlier this month, that makes a total of 6 pages within a month of July. Since pages 18 and 19 are merged as a two-page spread, however, it feels as if I've only managed to finish 2 pages this time...^_^;

This was the very first time for me to try out a two-page spread, trying to show how far Britannia is from Dacia. In the end, I think it turned out to be pretty nice where I was able to sneak in an image of Kraken! However, it was rather technically challenging for me. How the two pages are merged depended on how you "publish" the pages and all the settings involved. The effect of this dynamic paneling was of course, very rewarding but still...

Anyway, starting from page 21, it will be called "Part III" of Chapter 2. Hopefully, I can upload the pages again very soon. :)

BTW, if you are wondering what Saxa is saying on page 20 (as his babbling cannot be seen very clearly), here it is in its entirety:

"Well, ya know, it eventually comes down to a simple matter of getting used to. You'll find out soon enough after you join the army but at first, you don't understand a word of what the centurio is yelling about. And you get bruises from flogging for the mistakes you made and go to sleep with-out eating for several times. Only after a few months do you finally start to grasp what's going on."

Hmm, I dunno if I'd want to join the Roman army if I have to learn Latin as Saxa did. :-p
