あけましておめでとうございます
You may have seen on the news about what's happening in Japan in the first two days of the New Year. At first, I wasn't sure if I should send out my new year greeting but now I've decided to do so as nothing bad has happened today so far (Jan. 3). Things will only get better for the rest of the year, I'm sure. :)
Anyway, my family and I are sound and safe. I wish the same for everyone as well.
